CrFA® Asia Pacific Appoints Netrika Consulting as Authorised Training Service Provider in India

New Delhi, India — The Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants Asia Pacific has appointed Netrika Consulting Pvt. Ltd. as an Authorised Training Service Provider for the Certified Forensic Accountant (CrFA®) programme in India.

The agreement took effect on 10 July 2026 and authorises Netrika Consulting to deliver approved training services for professionals and candidates preparing for the CrFA® examination. These services include examination preparation, revision classes, mock examinations, case study workshops, one-on-one tutoring, online and in-person training sessions, and candidate support seminars.

Under the agreement, the Institute will be responsible for the CrFA® examination, syllabus, certification standards, intellectual property and associated programme materials. Netrika Consulting will provide approved training and candidate support in accordance with the Institute’s academic, professional and ethical requirements.

The appointment strengthens the presence of the CrFA® programme in India and provides candidates with access to structured local training delivered by an organisation with experience in forensic investigations, fraud risk management and corporate intelligence.

“This agreement represents an important step in expanding access to the CrFA® programme in India,” said Henry Ong of the Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants Asia Pacific. “India has a large and growing community of professionals in accounting, audit, compliance, investigations and risk management. Through Netrika Consulting, candidates will have access to organised training and practical support as they prepare for the CrFA® examination.”

Ong added that the appointment supports the Institute’s objective of developing professionals who can apply forensic accounting principles to actual business and investigative situations.

“The CrFA® programme goes beyond technical accounting knowledge. It develops the ability to examine financial information, identify warning signs, understand fraud schemes and communicate findings clearly. Netrika’s experience and local knowledge will help make these competencies more accessible to professionals across India,” he said.

Sharad Kumar, Director of CrFA® India and Authorised Representative of the Institute in India, said the agreement would help establish a more structured pathway for Indian professionals who seek advanced knowledge in forensic accounting and fraud examination.

“Demand for professionals with forensic accounting and investigative capabilities continues to increase as organisations face more complex financial, regulatory and technology-related risks,” Kumar said. “This agreement will allow CrFA® India to serve candidates more effectively through approved training, examination preparation and continuing professional support.”

For Netrika Consulting, the appointment expands its professional training capabilities and complements its work in investigations, risk consulting and corporate intelligence.

“We are pleased to be appointed as an Authorised Training Service Provider for the CrFA® programme,” said Sanjay Kaushik of Netrika Consulting Pvt. Ltd. “Our objective is to help participants connect forensic accounting concepts with the practical realities of fraud investigations, financial analysis, evidence evaluation and corporate risk.”

Kaushik said Netrika Consulting would place strong emphasis on applied learning and professional judgement.

“Forensic accounting requires more than familiarity with rules and procedures. Professionals must know how to recognise unusual patterns, ask the right questions and build conclusions that can withstand scrutiny. We look forward to helping CrFA® candidates develop these capabilities,” he said.

Through this agreement, CrFA® India and Netrika Consulting aim to broaden professional development opportunities for accountants, auditors, investigators, compliance officers, risk professionals and other practitioners who want to strengthen their competence in forensic accounting and financial investigations.
