ICFA Asia Pacific And FINDFIN Foundation Partner To Strengthen Financial Crime Prevention And Professional Education In India
Manila, Philippines / Dehradun, India — The Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants Asia Pacific (ICFAAP) and FINDFIN Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership aimed at advancing professional education, forensic accounting, fraud prevention, financial crime awareness, corporate governance, and responsible artificial intelligence practices across India.
The partnership brings together one of the Asia-Pacific region’s leading professional bodies in forensic accounting and an Indian organization actively engaged in financial literacy, fraud prevention, digital inclusion, and professional skills development. Through the collaboration, both organizations will jointly develop certification programs, professional development courses, conferences, seminars, research projects, technical publications, and public awareness initiatives designed to strengthen the fight against economic and financial crime.
The collaboration will focus on key areas including forensic accounting, fraud examination, financial investigation, fraud risk management, anti-fraud frameworks, ethics, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and the opportunities and risks presented by artificial intelligence in combating financial crime. The parties will also promote the internationally recognized Certified Forensic Accountant (CrFA®) designation together with other professional development programs offered by the Institute.
