The Grievance Committee of CrFA® India is established to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, and member accountability.
It serves as an impartial body responsible for receiving, reviewing, and resolving complaints related to member behavior, certification issues, ethical violations, or organizational concerns.

The committee ensures that all grievances—whether submitted by members, candidates, employers, clients, or the public—are handled with fairness, confidentiality, and due process. Its role is essential in maintaining trust in the CrFA® designation and in protecting the integrity of the forensic accounting profession.

Purpose of the Grievance Committee

The Grievance Committee exists to:

  • Address concerns involving ethical misconduct, professional violations, or unethical investigative practices

  • Ensure members comply with the CrFA® Code of Ethics

  • Provide a formal, structured mechanism for resolving disputes

  • Protect the public, employers, clients, and the forensic community from unprofessional behavior

  • Maintain fairness, transparency, and accountability within CrFA® India

What Issues May Be Reported?

The committee reviews grievances related to:

  • Breaches of the CrFA® Code of Ethics

  • Misrepresentation of qualifications or misuse of the CrFA® designation

  • Unethical forensic accounting or investigative practices

  • Confidentiality violations

  • Conflicts of interest

  • Professional negligence or misconduct

  • Improper behavior during training, certification, or assessment

  • Any conduct that may harm the reputation of CrFA® India

Only issues supported by clear detail, evidence, or reasonable basis may move forward for formal investigation.
